At Stovell House Surgery we have five permanent GPs.

Drs Khan, Sheyin & Sivadhas are the Partners.
Drs D'Souza & Tavares are Salaried.
We currently have three Registrars & one Foundation Year 2 who are mentored by
Dr Khan & Dr Sheyin .

Both our Practice Nurses, Liz Gayler & Ioanna Kokkosi work part time,
with our two Healthcare Assistants Joyce Tedeku & Debbie Graham.

The Practice Manager, Joanna Barnhurst is supported by a dedicated team of 12 staff.


Dr Kamran Khan BMed Sci, BMBS, MSc, FRCGP, DRCOG, DPD, graduated from Nottingham University in 1981.  He did his vocational training for general practice in Croydon and joined the practice in 1987.  

He is particularly interested in teaching and
dermatology though keeping a wide range of interests as a family doctor. Since 2002 he has been a trainer in general practice and supervises the registrar at the practice. He is also largely responisble for arranging the medical student teaching at the practice. In 1999 he completed an MSc in general practice at King's College.

Dr Khan was awarded a Fellowship of Royal College of General Practitioners in November 2014.

He is married with three children.

Dr Josephine Sheyin

Dr Josephine Sheyin - MBBS, MRCGP, DFFP, DRCOG. Graduated from the College of Medicine University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1998. After graduating she did her housemanship in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the UK where she did her GP training. She joined Stovell House Surgery in 2005 as a Registrar under Dr Khan.

She is interested in women's health and is responsible for Family Planning at the surgery which includes coil and subdermal implant fitting. She is also involved in teaching the medical students and mentoring the Registrars at the practice.

She is married with two children.

Dr Gajandra Sivadhas grew up in Croydon. He studied at St Georges's Hospital medical school and graduated in 2008 with a MBBS and a BSc in medical genetics. After a brief career in Accident and Emergency he realised General Practice was his true calling. He trained as Dr Khan's registrar before accepting a permanent position here. He is involved in teaching the medical students and in local medical politics. He is married and his hobbies include running and weight training.
